Located south of Wichita in south-central Kansas, Sumner
County Emergency Communications serves as the answering
point for 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls from the residents
and visitors in Sumner County, and dispatches police, fire,
EMS, and Emergency Management to those calls for help.
The county spans 1,188 square miles and has a population
just under 24,000. Equipped with enhanced 9-1-1 systems,
computer aided dispatch equipment, and a system of radio and voice pagers, our staff of trained and dedicated personnel can
handle your emergency in seconds.
